    >Offered here for your consideration is an
    old & original
    1977 University of Oregon Ducks
    cross-country plaque,
celebrating the Ducks' 1977 NCAA Cross Country Championship
    !!
    Please see all
    five
photos, as they are an important part of my description. This x-country championship took place on Nov. 21, 1977 in
    Spokane, Washington
    . This
    mega-Rare
vintage track and field-related plaque measures approximately 15" x 12" and is quite heavy, weighing over four pounds. The plaque is authentic thick wood, with a laminated front which has protected this vintage gem! This plaque undoubtedly hung in the halls of the Univ. of Oregon Athletic Dept. at one time, or in the office of an Oregon track coach such as Bill Dellinger or Bill Bowerman. The plaque consists of three (3) different images picturing the
    Oregon Ducks
stellar cross country team, plus a separate listing of their names:
    Matt Centrowitz
(father of future Duck runner Matthew Centrowitz),
Rudy Chapa, Don Clary, Alberto Salazar, Bill McChesney, Art Boileau, Bruce Nelson
; also listed is head coach
    Bill Dellinger
. Dellinger is pictured in the upper/right; below him is the championship trophy/plaque that was awarded to the team. Outstanding image of the Oregon runners, running as a group. High-quality plaque and definitely a
    one-of-a-kind
piece of history related to Oregon track and field, from Tracktown, USA here in
    Eugene, Oregon!
    <>
    Condition:
the plaque is in very *Fine Shape* overall! Three of the four laminated pieces are have begun to "lift up" due to age, but are still firmly attached to the plaque (this minor problem can most likely be remedied with a little glue).
As you can see, the plaque simply
    displays great!!!
