    This little gadget looks like an old mini hair curling iron; but it is a hair ROLLER. After you roll the hair on it, you slide a bobby pin in the curl to secure the hair. You then pull the curler out for another curl. It is used for curling the hair without rollers. "PRO-CURLER" is embossed on the side. "Pat. No.2039789", "Made in U.S.A." is embossed on opposite side. The patent number dates it back to 1936. It is made of a lightweight metal. Overall length is approximately 4 3/4". The spring and 'knob' are in good working condition. This raises and lowers the bar that holds the hair in place. This vintage hair roller is in excellent used condition.
