    When you load a DAT the word 'caution' appears and you have to eject the tape.  Everything lights up though. The front face is scratch free, but there are some scratches on the very top that are not visible from the front.  Seems to me to be a mechanical loading issue - all the electronics appear to be fine, so if you're handy it can probably be fixed.  NO REMOTE.   This auction is "for parts or not working" so no refunds, sorry.
