    Description

    Original Drawing by Artist L.C.B. initials, unknown, titled "The Age Of Steam", Nickel Plate Road #759 Berkshire Steam Locomotive. Could not locate artist's name, on the back of the cardboard said was a 1939 MD. Institute Grad.
    A brief biography from Wikipedia on the 759 steam Locomotive as follows:
    "Nickel Plate Road 759 is a 2-8-4 "Berkshire" type steam locomotive built in 1944 by the Lima Locomotive Works in Lima, Ohio as a member of the S-2 class for the New York, Chicago & St. Louis Railroad, commonly known as the "Nickel Plate Road". Built as a fast freight locomotive, the 759 served the Nickel Plate until being retired in 1959 and placed into storage. Today, the locomotive remains on static display at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania."
    Drawing comes with Burgundy matte, has cardboard backing, is unframed, size of matte, 20 1/16" inches W X 16 1/16  inches H.
