Matt McKasty 1.68" Handmade Contemporary Cosmic Abstract Nebula Orb Marble

Thank you for checking out my work. This borosilicate glass marble was handmade in my home studio using various colors and flameworking techniques. I make each piece individually from start to finish putting a great deal of care and attention into each one. No two are ever alike. Everything I make is run through a proper annealing cyclein a digital kiln for strength and durability. All my work comes un-signed by default, but I will be more than happy to titanium sign and date it at the buyer’srequest. My current signature reads BACKBEAT ’21.
Up for auction today is a beautiful 1.68" (42.6mm) abstract galaxy orb. This one is packed with colors including Double Amber Purple, Northstar Orange, Double Dose, Opaque Aqua, Unobtainium. This is a pretty crazy piece. I'm not sure I could begin to describe what's going on here but I'll let the picture speak for themselves. The white line on this marble has a slightlyrough texture due to being overheated. It does't effect the piece in any way but I just wanted to mention it. This is one of my favorite marbles from this batch.
