    Description

    Hawaii postal stationery (U11), Covers w/U.S. 647 or 648 affixed.  Cover 1: posted August 15 or 25, 1928 at Maunawai (Honolulu suburb) to local address; with U.S. 647 for postage.  Cover 2: posted August 17, 1928 at submarine base at Pearl Harbor to Buffalo, New York; with U.S. 648 for postage, via Air Mail.
    NOTE
    : The Provisional Government overprint on this cover has the second "e" inverted, this is a noted variety. This cover was 'MISSENT' to ?, via Ogden & San Francisco R.P.O., prior to delivery in Buffalo.
