    Description

Here is an original US theatrical 1-sheet for the American International Pictures release of Sergio Corbucci's eerie combination of peplum and horror Goliath and the Vampires (1964). While not as lyrical as Mario Bava's foray into this territory Hercules and the Haunted World (1963), there is sufficient exposition featuring the title vampire (singular) and his draining of women's blood to fuel his race of robots (!) to satisfy horror fans, and the finale which has Gordon Scott fighting against himself definitely provides a twist for jaded peplum fans.
Awesome artwork by Reynold Brown rightfully exploits the appearance of the vampire (which is not revealed until the film's climax) and features a complex collage of five different highlights at the bottom of the poster.
