    Description

    Rare, Historic....
2 SHEETS....17 PAIRS OF STAMPS TIED BY SPECIAL CANCELS.
ON THIS DAY, April 29 1945, Concentration Camp Dachau was liberated by the Allies.
Hitler made his last will, naming Karl
    Donitz as his successor.
(The day before, April 28, Mussolini and his mistress were captured
in Switzerland and hung.....Hitler and Eva Braun were married in the
Fuhrerbunker....Hitler learned of Himmler's offer of surrender and
    ordered him to be arrested)
Germany would surrender on May 4)
The Passion Play (Passion of Christ) had been performed for decades,
    earlier by Anton Lang.
THIS IS THE COMPLETE SET OF HITLER DEFINITIVES CANCELED ON
TWO PAGES WITH DATED CANCELS.   GENUINE.
Rather than promote Nazi Germany, this item signals the end of it.
The writing you see on both, noting "The Passion Play" is on the acetate
    covering the sheet.
