This year, it's not just an extra day off for us, but a reminder to the world of how expensive human freedom is. On August 24, we have a kind of symbolism — exactly 6 months since Ukraine is forced to defend its independence again from enemies in a war that actually lasts not half a year, not 8, not 100 years, and not even 300 years.
Prior to this event, Укрпошта will release the Free, Unbreakable, Invincible blockmark + envelope (the first such release during the war). The timing for preparation was very tight, so the circulation will be only 1 million copies. But I'm sure all philatelia lovers will be able to buy it and add it to the Independence Day collection, which can be supplemented every year with new stamps from Ukrposhta.
Launch details will be announced on the eve of August 24, because our neighbors, as in that saying: see someone else's under the forest, but do not see their own under their nose.
