    Vintage 20's Art Deco enamel silver MUMMY SARCOPHAGUS COSMETIC or PENCIL HOLDER
    I believe this was made to hold an Egyptian kohl eye pencil, it has been suggested to me by a kind ebay user that it may be a pencil holder. The design was extremely popular at the time due to the discovery of King Tut's tomb in 1923
    Stands independently, bottom is removable
