- 6” x 89” 60 Grit Sanding belts for Oscillating Edge Sander Made of Zirconia for Metal Sanding. BUILT IN USA.
6 In. x 89 In. Sanding Belts feature Zirconia grains coated on premium X-weight poly/cotton backing and fastened into a belt using a bi-directional, high strength butt joint. These 6x89 zirconia alumina belts are close coat, resin on resin bonded which provides superior grain retention and reduces loading compared to other bonding methods. Zirconia 6” x 89” sanding belts are built for heavy-duty sanding and grinding applications and are perfectly equipped to handle aggressive grinding on carbon and stainless steel, aluminum, nickel, cast iron and various other metals. Each zirconia sanding belt features top quality zirconia grains which can last up to 2.5 times as long as the same belt with aluminum oxide grains when used on aggressive sanding applications. These 6" x 89" Zirc belts are designed for edge, face, bevel or contoured sanding on a 6x89 oscillating edge sander.
