Beautiful 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Restoration process has been ongoing over the last 10 years - using all original parts & keeping dash etc. original. New paint/chrome around 10 years ago. All seats newly upholstered and in perfect condition - and yes, it is like sitting on a sofa driving down the highway. Photos show condition of paint (almost perfection) and also no rust on the car at all - including underneath and trunk, headliner is perfect minus a small portion on the passenger back left side. (see photo) She has been parked in a garage at all times & no one has smoked it in. There are a few paint chips due to frequently driven on weekends. Radio works (love AM radio), all lights in and out work fine, blinkers fine, gauge lights good. Fan works great - just no AC.Engine has been maintained & newly rebuilt approx. 10 years ago. Has less than 6000 miles on the engine. Well are selling due to garage space, no time for more upgrades, & not being driven as much as we used to. Would love to have a Monte lover to purchase and finish to all it's glory. To complete the car for a "show car" more would be done, but we have always had it as a weekend cruising car and is fun to take to a random car show for fun. Here are some things that given more time/money we would have done: new shocks (I have them so would go with the car), back passenger upholstery by the window (see photo), air-conditioning, gas gauge doesn't work (we keep track of mileage & keep it full), speedometer is approx. 5 miles off, gauge for gears P, N, D etc. needs to be done. Also, a common Monte issue when in park there is some "give" there. So if you move it within park a bit starts right up. If you have it too far over will just click. (Monte forums discuss this in length - as owners have thought the starter was out, but no there is give in that park position.)You can message me with any questions and request other photos.
