Description
After some diligent research it appears this is a commemorative plaque for a Croatian footballer team founded in the town of Zagreb in 1913 and disbanded in 1943 - during World War II. The initials “HSK” and “GEC” on the plaque point to footballer teams in the Croatian - Yugoslavia area. There are some pin holes in each corner - so maybe it was affixed on a wall or building at one time.
