    Description

    1941 censored airmail cover from Varoka, Ba, Fiji to Athens, GA, USA.
    Given that World War II (WWII) was ongoing, it is not surprising that the envelope was opened, examined, and resealed at left with U.S. censor tape reading "Examined by 1569."
    The cover has cancellations reading December 30, 1941 (P.O. Ba-Fiji) and December _, 1941 (
    Suva, Fiji).  It is franked with one 1/2d and one 2.5d Fijian stamps
    .
    The cover is in very good, clean condition, with just a few rough edges from opening.
    It is a Very Fine piece ready to enhance any collection of U.S., Fiji, or WWII-era postal history.
